Subways national office response is that all stores are locally owned and are not obligated to follow national ads or promotions. My advice is to ignore any Subway ads or coupons you get and call before you waste your gas going to a store and finding out they are not following a national ad you’re expecting. As for me and my family we refuse to buy any products from national franchise stores that do not honor ads by that franchise.

Very irritating!
Yes, I've also found this particular problem with Quizno's as well. I do believe at the end of these ad's they usually end with (in a softer less noticable voice ughh)something to the effect of "In participating stores only!" But it's very misleading! Why even bother doing an adversitement if the stores do not have to abide by it? I do understand they're locally owned, however you think the owners would honor these ads to get more business! Wouldn't it draw more people to you? I don't get it!

Better Experience, way better sub
Go to Blimpie inside Wal-Mart, $5 footlongs and even better $5 6" subs with chips and drink. Way fresher product and the best bread by far.
