City Church Youth Group

Every Thursday the City Church on west 10th. Ave. holds a youth group/ outreach program. I suggest that parents DO NOT let their children attend this program. A large portion of the youth that attend leave the church property and cause problems in the surrounding neighborhood. These kids participate in activities such as drug use, vandalism, theft, loitering, and harassment just to name a few. I work in a business a block away and I have to call the police once a week to come control these kids. I believe that once these kids are at the church they should not be allowed to leave without adult supervision and that the church should take a good hard look at their program and its effectiveness.

When I attended there for a friends performance, the kids shouted fowl things at each other in the church. They were smoking pot/cigarettes at one point, and I knew for sure that a lot of them that were are underage. This is differently a sad excuse for parents to take their children and leave them there. The worse part is, the adults there doesn't even do anything about them leaving and what they do or say.. I believe that they really need to rethink everything about that place.. its not a church, its a outlet to let kids cause problems.
